We did it! Our first ever interiors photoshoot - and it was brilliant!Â
Little Deer friend and stylist Antonia Mckenzie travelled to the location with us in our van where we met Photographer Rachel Manns and her assistant Martin. Our good friend and previous Little Deer photographer, Dale Weeks also met us on location to shoot behind the scenes - it was a dream team!Â
Located in Hastings right next to the sea - the apartment we shot in worked perfectly - with a balcony looking right over the beach.
We can't wait to share the final images with you ...watch this space!Â
All images in this post shot by Dale Weeks.Â

Opposite Selfridges, the Pop Up was the perfect location. Curated by Nina (owner of jewellery shop Magpie on the Run), the pop up featured some incredible and unique brands such as Chalk Jewellery, Edge of Ember, Orwell & Austen, Sarah Baily and so many more!Â
We fell in love with one brand in particular and will be stocking their pieces very soon, watch this space for more information on that!Â
Â
We provided a number of rails for the pop up in a variety of different designs including the Ceiling Hung Rail, Porter Style Rail and the Rail With Ladder.Â
The open evening was a blast and it was so lovely to see the pop up come together (despite the fact Nina had barely any time to get the whole space set up and ready for shopping!)Â

We first met Leila (founder of Waking Grey) last summer at Wilderness Festival. I instantly fell in love with Leila's style and branding for Waking Grey. The stall looked amazing, really really amazing.
It's hard to make a stall look good at a festival. You're faced with seriously uneven ground and possible mud. Traders are given a small empty space to display their goods and you have to come up with something functional and aesthetically pleasing sometimes in as little as half a day. Leila styled the space with white rails, a statement rug and homely details such as a chair and a few green plants.
Â
Fast forward 5 months on and Leila and I have worked together for the first time. Hand picking a unique and beautiful collection of Vintage Clothing for Little Deer.Â
We spoke to Leila about where Waking Grey all began:Â
Â
Â
One thing that stands out for me is that collection after collection each piece is so special. Leila doesn't create a collection with a couple of 'statement' pieces and then just a ton of fillers - each and every garment is hand picked and sits well next to the one before. We asked Leila how she gets inspired to curate the perfect collections:Â
Finally we were keen to know what Leila's favourite piece from the Waking Grey collection at The Little Deer was:
The mustard silk shirt, it's so simple but a really great transitional item, delicate enough to wear on its own, or great layered up over a simple tee with some boyfriend jeans for a more casual look.

Ethereaia was founded in 2015 and has been stocked at The Little Deer for just a few months now. The driftwood and other materials that go into making these beautiful wall hangings are sourced carefully by brand owner Nicola. Nicola has to use the internet to find quality driftwood from all over the country and sometimes her family brings driftwood, sea glass and shells back to England from where they live in Mallorca for Nicola to work with.Â
'The one thing I would love to have is a regular supply of driftwood... if I lived by the coast I could go out and find the driftwood I use in my designs myself. I really hope to achieve this one day.'
Nicola's passion for crafting these bespoke dreamcatchers comes from generations of passionate crafters and artists in her family. Each of Nicola's designs is one of a kind, which is exactly what drew us to her brand in particular. The rustic and bohemian wall hangings are crafted by hand and each one is individual and different.Â

It's been a while but the playlist is back - and better than ever! It's been a fun one to curate this month. These are the tunes we've had on in the studio for the last couple of weeks, we hope you enjoy as much as we do!Â
Featuring: Shura (who we saw at Wilderness Festival and she was brilliant!), Bob Moses, Zola Jesus, MØ and old time favourites - Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.Â
